Tom Norton's Walnut Ink
Tom Norton’s Walnut Drawing Ink® is a rich, lightfast, warm sepia-colored ink handmade by Tom Norton in the US from premium imported materials. It holds well in a brush or dip pen; lines made directly from the bottle produced dense, almost shiny marks. When thinned with water as a light wash and layered, successive overlaps produces darker shades.
Tom Norton’s Darkening Medium® is not an ink but an additive to be used to darken the original ink when a drawing needs that extra “punch”. It is very heavily pigmented and made with the same binder as the original so it can be added or mixed with Tom Norton’s Original Ink® without changing its working properties.
