Leather key stand by Tortie Hoare
Tortie designed this key stand to experiment with the use of boiled leather in creating a container and combining it with wood to make a piece of furniture. The wooden stand has been steam bent to create a sympathetic structure to compliment the natural leather form.
The stand does not take up any needed floor space for shoes and could be used to hang umbrellas. You can use it as you wish when you enter the home, and you will notice it is impossible to lose your keys, yet never gets in your way.
The materials used to make this are oak and boiled leather.
